Mandala allover

Textile – scarf, Wax batik on silk, 2015, 54 x 200 cm

I was inspired by the »Bali mandala« on cotton, to explore the topic of mandalas further, this time on silk, creating a bunch of different mandala circles. The piece was created during a stay on Bali. I used the »canting« tool to apply wax lines and repeated colour baths/wax lines.
