Susanna Iris Leon (CH)

Susanna Leon is a Patent Attorney working in the Pharma sector in Basel, Switzerland. A watercolourist who loves to work en plein air, she is inspired by nature and paints whatever she encounters while hiking and cycling in Switzerland as well as further afield. She is drawn to light and shadow, rather than to any particular subject itself, and is fascinated by the changing of light, seasons and colours. She likes to use watercolour for its immediacy and spontaneity. She has been exhibiting her work since 2018 at the annual international watercolour festival FabrianoinAcquarello in Italy, as well as in local exhibitions.
