Sven Berg (SE)
The family background surely had some influence on Sven Berg, with parents being active artists. Paintings and textile art, as well as sculptures and books covered walls from floor to ceiling. While at the university, with applied physics as subject, Sven provided cartoons on a weekly basis for the local student paper. He took evening courses in art, including calligraphy. During 23 years at the EPO in Munich he participated in the annual exhibitions with art in oil, acrylics and watercolours in a wide range of styles, but also with items made of steel, wood and stone, and mixed media. The variations in media, materials and styles did not stop when Sven moved back to Sweden in 2013. Plein air painting is the latest idea. At this exhibition three small pieces from this niche are displayed.
